The NEBOSH International Diploma is highly respected by employers worldwide. It meets the requirements to apply for graduate membership of IOSH (GradIOSH). With continuing professional development (CPD) you can then become a chartered safety and health practitioner as a chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH). It also allows you to use the letters 'IDipNEBOSH' after your name.
The NEBOSH International Diploma course is split into four units of study, each of which is assessed separately:
You must complete all units within 5 years to achieve the full NEBOSH International Diploma qualification.
Previous health and safety qualifications, such as a NEBOSH Certificate, are strongly recommended before embarking on the NEBOSH Diploma course.
Units IA, IB and IC of the NEBOSH International Diploma are each assessed via one three-hour written examination. Unit ID is assessed via a written assignment of approximately 8,000 words.
