IEMA Lead Environmental Auditor

course provides an understanding of how to audit or assess the effectiveness of environmental management, the applicable environmental aspects and the role of Lead Environmental auditors.

It is aimed at environmental practitioners conducting 1st, 2nd and 3rd party EMS (Environmental Management System) audits, providing the knowledge and understanding required for competence in this field, but must be combined with appropriate experience.

Successful completion of the IEMA Lead Environmental Auditor course provides credit towards an Environmental Auditor application on IEMA’s Environmental Auditors register.

The IEMA Lead Environmental Auditor course is assessed by a multiple-choice exam and a short coursework assignment

It is essential that participants have a good understanding of ISO 14001 before attending this course.
